In the beginning of July the temperatures are very high - 33-35 C. If this does not bother you, we offer the opportunity for a spectacular photo tour where you can shoot more than 60-70 species of birds including the most colorful in Bulgaria.The potential of the July photo tour are as good as those of the May and June photo tour (maybe just photography with sound is doomed to failure) with the following features:
Little Bittern - the best time for shooting during the season. The birds feed their young actively awaiting food outside nests. Only in July and August can be observed and photographed typical sprint of the bird on aquatic plants.
Roller - the young leave the nest about 7 - 8 of July. They are grown-up and their parents feed them with an attractive food - large insects, small lizards and mice. The leaving the nest of young birds is also a very exciting time.
Bee-eater - the young leave the nest about 17 - 18 of July. You can capture the entire range of behaviors without copulation. Although I have observed copulation in July or even August.
The place for drinking water and bathing - the best time for shooting during the season. In July 2014 for 4 hours were photographed 23 species. For 2-3 days can shoot 50 or more species.
Golden Oriole - birds have left the nest, but we know where to eat wild fruits and we can count on excellent photographs of this type by mobile hide.
Young Cuckoo - the best time for shooting during the season. Near Lomovete the Cuckoo lays its eggs in the nest of Great Reed Warbler. The best time to take photos of the young Cuckoo is from 5st till 10th of July. In July 2014 I was fortunate to find a little Ouckoo in the nest of Corn Bunting.
Mammals: Excellent opportunities for European Souslik, Muskrat and Bat.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival at Bucharest airport and transfer to a small family hotel located in Rusenski Lom Nature Park. Within the next hours we will visit the places so you become familiar with the set up.
Day 2 to 7
Five full days of bird photographing. After a short breakfast we will leave for the hides. The best time for taking photos is between 6.00 - 11.00 am and 4.00 - 8.00 pm. We will have dinner at the hotel.
Day 8
We have an option for an early morning session depending on the flights and transfer to the airport.

Cost: 1 550 EUR
Deposit: 250 EUR

Price includes: Airport transfers (from and to Bucharest Airport), local transportation, accommodation, 3 meals per day, use of hides and guides.
Price excludes: International flights, travel insurance, alcohol and all items of purely personal nature.
