Photo tours Our photography tours are based near Lomovete. The tours are carefully organized to optimise your photography time. We are flexible and depending on your wish we can arrange shorter or longer tours. They can be focused on particular species you would like to photograph. Please contact us and we will do our best to satisfy your wish.You can take photos of reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, dragonflies and plants. The main focus of our tours is bird photography in their natural habitat.

The group size is 4 photographers. If participants know each other and are ready to be photograph with a second person together in a hide - then the group can be of four photographers.

The hotel is a small family which has only 8 rooms (separate bathroom and toilet, wireless Internet, TV, pool). Located in Bojichen village , 19 km south of Ruse within the Rusenski Lom Nature Park. The hotel opens in May and June solely for photographers. Quiet, there sing many birds. The Orioles and Nightingales sing only 10 meters away from your room.

Booking Reservations require a deposit of 250 Euros per person which is non-refundable and should be made by bank transfer. The balance of the tour is due for payment when you arrive in Bulgaria. Please contact for bank details.

Cancellation charges If written notice of cancellation is received more than 150 days prior to the beginning of photo tour we will refund 60% of the value of the deposit.

Travel insurance Every participant should make his/her own travel insurance.

Bee-eater: from 22.5 to 17.7. Best time: 22.5 - 5.6; 25.6 - 15.7.
Golden Oriole: from 25.5 to 17.6 near nest. The past three years hatching is about 30.5 - 3.6. The young birds leave the nest after 18-19 days. Best time - two days after the birth of the young and the last two days before leaving the nest; from 1.7. to 15.7 birds eating berries.
Roller: from 5.5. to 7.7 near nest. Best time: 22.5 - 30.5; 25.06 - 7.7.
Hoopoe: from 15.4 to 31.8. Best time near nest: 2.5 - 10.5. Best time outside the breeding season: 25.6 - 15.7.
Little Bittern: from 20.5 to 15.9. Best time: 20.5 - 10.6 singing male; 25.6 - 15.9 hunting and feeding on attractive yellow aquatic plants; young birds in the nest 28.6 - 5.7.
Black Stork: from 1.3 to 20.8 Best time: 1.5 - 15.7.
Cuckoo: from 10.4 to 30.6. Best time: 20.4. - 20.5; areas close to wetlands and breeding Great Reed Warbler 10.6 - 20.6.
Young Cuckoo: 3.7 - 10.7.
Black-headed Bunting: from 15.5 to 31.8. Best time: 15.5 - 25.6. - male singing on bush or blooming flowers.<
Ortolan Bunting: from 15.5 to 31.08. Best time: 15.5 - 15.7 around drinking station.
Booted Eagle: from 5.5 to 31.8. Best time: 5.5. - 20.06.
Long-legged Buzzard: from 25.3. to 30.09. Best time: 1.04 - 20.6.
